Need to recover license key
I can't find my original purchase email, but I did purchase a lifetime key.
I don't think I can even access where that email was sent...
What can I do?

Re: Need to recover license key
Here's the problem with trying to submit a ticket on the support site...
I try to login with the same credentials as I log into the forums, and it tells me invalid username\password. So I try to register for a new one, but the email\username is already in use. Last time I tried contacting support for the support site, they just gave me the runaround and no solutions they presented helped.
I'm tired of getting the runaround and no help from support whatsoever.
Does anyone have any ideas without having to go through their support site?

Thanks Low, but that didn't work.

Then contact Rusty directly via PM on Forum with order details.

Ummmm remember the part where I said I don't have access to the email where I made the order anymore? There's gotta be some way to look me up via any other details...right?
Re: Need to recover license key
You don't need access to the email, but I presume you do remember it. That together with a rough guess on purchase date should be enough information.

Re: Need to recover license key
I don't even have a rough guesstimate of the purchase date. It had to have been about 4 versions back...

Great. Now I'm trying to send a PM to Rusty as suggested and it's sitting in my outbox. There's no send button.

Messages show as in the outbox until the receiver opens the message, where it will then show as "Sent"SpideyRules wrote:Great. Now I'm trying to send a PM to Rusty as suggested and it's sitting in my outbox. There's no send button.

Thanks for that. I wasn't sure. Looks like no support for this user. This is really starting to piss me off. The lack of support for this software is astounding....

Come on dude. You don't have access to the original email you purchased with, you don't know when you purchased it, you won't log in to the support site...SpideyRules wrote:Thanks for that. You've gotta give a little to get something. At this point it just seems like you're trying to get a free key.
Ok, you can't create a new log in for support because you're using the same email you signed up with from a previous account. So register with a new email then. Email accounts are free, there are sites that let you create a temporary/junk email address. Just do something, but don't expect to get an answer here.

Re: Need to recover license key
I can see how it could look like that, reading back over it. The reason though is that when Time Warner took over my local cable company, and the emails got all screwed up, I stopped using that entirely. I can give all the info someone needs to prove I'm legit, I just can get hold of anybody in that position. So I resorted to a forum post...
