two soundcards
Moderator: Gurus
Yeah, but...
My guess is that the point of using two soundcards is that you can use one of them as a cue (as in headphones pre-listening) output, so you can choose the song you'll play next, while through the other card (the 'main' output, connected to the amp/speakers) the music keeps rockin'. Perfect for (non-beat-matching) DJing.
For such a feature I would think of
a)The hability to use this second audio device, of course
b)A play/pause control, and a position slider, which acts over the currently SELECTED (as in 'focus'). A volume control would come in handy.
I mean, with two soundcards you can always run an instance of Winamp or any other media player for the cueing, but then you loose the integration with MM library.

Send Me A E-mail and I'll Send You My Beta App For Song Monitoring, I hope it will be included as a feature of MM, but as for now this is only I can Offer.
