[SOLVED] 15,000 files to auto-tag? (MMW NewB)

Hi All,
I'm new to Media Monkey with about 26,000+ MP3s and a previous iTunes user for about the last 10 years. I've got the latest MMW. I needed to switch due to Apple no longer supporting the iPod Classic models (160GB in my case).

So here's my quandry:
1) All was well in iTunes with my music library, which consists of ripped CDs, some online music purchases, some bootlegs (some legal, some not so much ;). All of the files are in .MP3 format.
2) I tried another product WALTR2, but that doesn't handle tagging nor playlists
3) In MMW, I've got a ton of tagging work to do. I'd estimate I have about 11,000 MP3s in the "Unknown Artist / Unknown Album" group. I probably have another 4,000 MP3s that have tags which need to be corrected. Doing this manually, I'd have to look up the CD in Amazon and copy / paste each song title for each unknown artist / album, which I could spend weeks doing. The Auto-Tag feature caught my eye.

----->>>> So the $64k question ---> Will Auto-Tagging with maybe MusicBrainz or other Internet Music DB do the trick for me? I assume a music DB gathers as much tag info available, perhaps a filename.mp3, path etc... any other unique mp3 identifiers, does a lookup and corrects the tags at minimum for Artist, Album, Track Name / Number?

-->> Next question, are there basic steps on this board or a knowledge article somebody can point me to PUUUUHHHLEEEEZE :) ?? :D

Any suggestions, steps, advice on this matter and I'll be eternally grateful!!!!!

Thanks,
Chris S.

Auto-Tag from Web needs to be done per Album and you'll need an Addon like the Discogs Tagger in MediaMonkey 4. You also can use Auto-Tag from Filename.
