When I open MM window then the "Player" pane at the bottom is (partially) transparent.

How can I disable this transparency?

Disabling

Options-->Player-->MiniPlayer Transparency-->Checkbox "Make window transparent"

is not suitable.

Disable the areo view option if it still is available on the system you have. I am not sure how to in the code. But some place in the forum there was a post telling you how. Might have a link to it on my old help page it's link is below in my signature

Hi,
That depends on Skin. What skin you use?

Note: Non skinned MM player transparency cant be changed. You can try to set Non-Skinned exe in XP compatibility mode to disable Aero effects.

I would appreciate if at least the controls background at the bottom get a non-transparent background.

Aero Skin should be reserved for title and status bar only

Hi,
then it would not be non-skinned version of MMW as Aero effect on app UI that have it enabled is handled by OS.
