Add a tag to multiple files in multiple folders

Post by Cyngael »

So, I have a "To Be Sorted" folder where I drop all my albums. I stick everything there until I can edit the properties and auto-organize. It has many sub-folders.

I can't seem to select multiple folders in the Library navigation, but every file in 99 out of 100 sub-folders of my "To be sorted" folder needs to have the same grouping applied to it.

How do I do this in bulk?!?!

You can't select multiple folders (nodes) in the Media Tree. However you can enabled All (Tools > Options > Appearance) and select as many files as you wish in the Filelisting and use right click > Properties and any edit will be applied to all selected files.

Thanks! That did the trick. Still, seems like selecting multiple folders should be fairly standard.
