Just recently after the update to MM 4.1.30.1914 I get unregulary this error message:
The database file [path]MM.DB (version 5.0.18) isn't fully compatible with MediaMonkey 4. It is recommended that you use it exclusively with MediaMonkey 5 to avoid possible data corruption.
I tested MM5 back in 2017 once, with a copy of my DB. Since then I did not go anywhere near MM5.
So why does it say that I use a version 5 DB in MM4 all of the sudden?! I have never seen this message in the last 3 years.
I installed back MM 4.1.29.1910, but I still get this error message now and then..
Any ideas of how to get rid of that? (Using MM5 is not an option!)
And I do run DB maintenance almost daily!
And I am kind of freaked out, as I work professionally with MM, my MM.DB is 1GB+ large and we did like thousands of updates in the last weeks.. If I would have to return to some old backup, that would be a big catastrophy. AND I would not know to which, as we never switched to v5 DB?! So what happened here?!
regards,
Bernhard
