[SOLVED] Add/Rescan Folders does not work

I have used MM4 for many years. Since about 4 weeks the Add/Rescan functionality no longer works. I downloaded a new version 4.1.30.1914. Please help. Manfred

After rescanning, any new mp3 simply do not appear in MM. On the other hand, I can grab the mp3 and drop it into MM. So I have an alternate way of populating MM, but it is tedious, namely one mp3 at the time.

That is strange and if you use My computer tree node do you see the files?

Good point (entire library shows every scanned and supported format), but that is why My computers (folders) view is for, as it uses same scanning plugins to read and show files that MM can play (eg. that is why pictures are not shown as there is no format plugin in MM).

Another benefit of My computer is that debug log would show the reason why some file is not read or not listed.
