Skip and Play

Post by Slapfest »

Hi all,
I'm a musician.
I cant tell you how long I've been using MM as my default for,
but its a long time, maybe 20 years?
Its probably the most consistant ,
least troublesome application I've ever paid for.
However, it has recently taken on a 'skip one, play one' type of thing
where it will play a track briefly, a number of seconds
and skip to the next track, which it plays right through.
I should add that I have the 'shuffle' option on, usually
to play a mixed order, rather than consecutively.
It doesnt consistantly do this, just occasionally.
But enough for me to be asking -
what have I inadvertantly done,
to bring about this?
I presume its me,
but any insight would be greatly appreciated, cheers

Which version (Help > About) of MediaMonkey are you using? It sounds like MediaMonkey 4 which had a bug with an Addon causing this if memory serves me.

MediaMonkey 5 is the current release: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... f=3&t=8811

Anyway, I believe the Silence Between Songs Addon causes this: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... =2&t=42775
