Synchronisation zwischen Win10 und Android richtig gestalten

Post by edost87 »

Hallo Zusammen,

Hi,
FiiO CPU is on the lower end, SDcard reader chip is not the fastest one and scanning 30k usually takes more time than on Normal Android device, especially if you have other apps installed.
The best way for FiiO devices that we have found are:
1. Once you start MM wait till it shows all is scanned (no running circle on top right)
2. Start WiFi Sync First in order to have correct profile created.
3. Sync Thru USB as it will be faster (especially for 30k of tracks)
4. After all tracks are copied unplug FiiO
5. Wait for MMA to Rescan Library (no running circle on top right)
6. Start WiFi Sync Again with added playlists

NOTE first WiFi Sync should be slower and any subsequent syncs should be reasonably fast.

Hey Peke,

thank you for your fast Support.

One further question from my side. If all tracks are copied to the player why do MM copy the tracks again if I create a new playlist and synchronisize it to the player.

Thank you

Hi,
Few possible issues:
1. Your FiiO profile have Delete all and resync.
2. You have not left MM to scan the device (USB sync still must scan device where WiFi uses internal DB to compare, thus faster)
3. Tracks are not paired correctly and MM re sync all

My best guess is that you clean device, format SDcard -> Reinstall MMA -> Clean any storage leftovers at ⋮ -> Options -> Storage -> Sync WiFi to create new SDcard profile -> Connect FiiO -> Delete old profiles (connected one can't be deleted) -> Sync all that you want -> disconnect -> Start WiFi sync again, but with selected playlists -> Wait patiently till all tracks are paired (it may look like all is copied again, but it is not) -> Enjoy

Each next sync should be much much faster.

Hi Peke,

that I understand you right. For the first step I should use USB to copy the big amount of tracks.

Later I should use Wifi Sync because it's faster by using DB?

best regards.

First use WiFi, so that you have prepared WiFi profile (even not a single track is synced profile is created), then use USB to copy that large chunk of files, then once tracks are copied use WiFi to Sync playlists and from that only use WiFi because it ill be faster.
