Since I downloaded the version 8.2 for windows vista 64 for i-tunes , I can see the imported (and previously saved ) playlist in I tunes, but when I clcik on a song from the playlist nothing happene d. No song is being played.

I have the same playlist on my laptop with windows xp pro and all songs play fine there.

Anyone have a solution???

You're in the wrong place as this is for MediaMonkey not iTunes.

Try playing the files outside of the Playlist (to see if they can be played) and check the Paths for the files on the Playlists to make sure the files are actually in that location.
