I'm syncing my MediaMonkey library to a folder, which I then transfer to Android mobile devices.
In File Locations / Options, I specify that the files go to this folder:
\Sync\Music\<Album Artist>\<Album>\<Track#:-2>
I've noticed that when I change the Album Artist tag in the MediaMonkey UI, I see the new text in the UI, but when I sync, it writes to the old directory.
I assume that MediaMonkey is relying on a stale tag value. How can I fix this?
Thanks!

Re: MediaMonkey is using stale cached tag values
Where (what node in the Media Tree) did you change the Album Artist value and what Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey are you using?

Re: MediaMonkey is using stale cached tag values
I am running MM4 (4.1.31.1919). The current version of MM5 is too crash prone for me to use.
I changed the album artist value as follows:
In the tree on the left, I selected Music / Album and then selected a given album.
Clicking that album cause the album's tracks to be displayed. I selected one such track, then pressed Ctrl+A to select all the album's tracks.
Then I did a right click, and chose Properties.
Then I changed the Artist and Album Artist tags. My changes immediately displayed in the UI.
Then I did a sync, and it's clear that the old tag values were used.
Sincerely,
Eric Terrell

Do you have the option to enforce use of sync mask for files already on device enabled in the Location setting of the Device Profile.
It is required to update the Paths of files already on the device.

The device was *empty* before the sync.
