Auto Sync Missing Selected Artists

Not sure if I'm being a bit thick here.....

Selected AutoSync for my Sony Z3 on my SD card, went through and checked each Artist and Album I wanted to sync and press Sync.... copied everything over fine. Plugged phone back in and it synced ok and updated the library on my laptop with the latest play information.

Now I want to add one album to the sync but nothing is selected under artists and albums in Auto Sync. Isn't it supposed to remember what you have auto syncing to the device like crappy iTunes does. I know I could select the album I want and not check the option to delete files not in the sync but that seems pretty dumb to me, surely I should be able to select and deselect what I want synced each time without going through and checking each box every time?

Is this a bug or am I expecting too much?

Yes, it remembers what was selected. Are you sure you chose the correct device?
