MoD:

Is there anyway in a future version, the user can specify where to save the logs? The root drive of my exernal drive is getting bogged down, and I do want to retain the logs without having to keep moving them. :-?

Thanks and I am still loving this script.

Is something wrong with this? I downloaded the zip file and extract the contents and it says invalid install package. What's going on here? Thanks much!

Yeah not sure.

Nynaevelan informs me that they can't download it with IE on a Vista machine but works fine with Firefox.

It is zipped with XPPro compressed folders so there seems to be some incompatability somewhere between XP and Vista :(

I've put in an unzipped link but you have to right click --> save as for Firefox

The unzipped version does work with IE in Vista, but I will continue to use Firefox because I prefer the installation package.

The unzipped is the installation file, just not zipped :)

Possibly why it might cause dramas cause it's effectively a zipped zip :)

Have you tried just uploading the mmip file, maybe that will work? What do I know, I'm just the one who is always demanding upgrades...

So I just used the one that included all of the files rather than the mmip. Anyhow, after copying the 4 files in the auto folder in MM3 and then starting MM3, this pop up comes up:

Image

Can explain what this is for?

Am curious too, how do I get this to work as I looked through my scripts and cannot find it nor can I find to setup any applicable options such as backup path, etc... What do I do with this?

Thanks much!

I think you've put "Uninstall.vbs" in the Auto folder - bad move!!

The script (when correctly installed) will add a "Backup Tracks" option to the "Tools" menu.
Download my scripts at my own MediaMonkey fansite.
All the code for my website and scripts is safely backed up immediately and for free using Dropbox.

WoW, I'm not sure how you managed to do that but you need to delete the 4 files from scripts\Auto.

Install.ini
Uninstall.ini
Uninstall.vbs
TrackBackup.vbs

Right Click the .mmip and Install Media Monkey Package.

Then Run it from Tools --> Track Backup

The screen shot is when you uninstall via Tools --> Extensions.
The question is whetehr to delete the links to the backed up tracks.
