Still can't connect my android device with monkeytunes

Hello,

I've still have a problem with connecting android phone (motorola DEFY) with mediamonkey through monkeytunes. I've done everything from the FAQ and different topics from malloware and mediamonkey forums. mediamonkey is installed correctly. After typing pairing code on my laptop small window with code disappear on my Phone. But after few seconds it appears again. I really don't know what to do. Please Help.

I had this same problem and got it around it by adding my server manually.

Use the IP in the first field and change the second field to just be "1" without quotes.

Since I've still can not connect my android device (Motorola Defy with Cyanogen Mod 7 beta and ADW launcher) via tunesremote+ it would be great if MediaMonkey team could start working on their own remote. (like winamp did). It woudl be really great couse I love media Monkey.

My guess is if your TunesRemote+ cannot see your MonkeyTunes PC then you have a firewall issue. We have a FAQ:

But most of the times the issues on why people can't connect are:

1. Firewall, firewall, firewall.

2. Not having the PC and the Android device connected to the same WIFI network.

3. Have a wired PC but a wireless Android and your Router will not allow UDP traffic between the wired and wireless connections.

4. An ERROR in your MonkeyTunes log which you can find by right-clicking the MonkeyTunes treenode in MM and doing "View Log File.." and searching for ERROR.

I've disabled the firewall completely after trying the esoteric and poorly writen steps on adding the ports, but still no luck.
