Is there a solution for the Catastrophic failure error?

I just ran the script for the first time. I like it alot. The only problem is, using option #8, I get the following error message apprx every 400-500 tags. I copied & pasted the text below from an older post. I searched and could not find a resolution. Please help. Thanks

"Access violation at address 0082F4E1 in module 'Media Monkey.exe.' Read of address 00000008." It then asks for me to file an error report, after which it then gives me the following error:

"Error #-2147418113 -
File: "C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\Scripts\AlbumArtTagger.vbs", Line: 982, Column: 8"

"Error happened during script execution:
Catastrophic failure"

Yes, there appears to be a memory issue. I am currently discussing this with the developers who are investigating. For now you'll need to use smaller batches of tracks, unfortunately.

The script works great for everything except when I use the selection #9 Assign a cover art image and click Go, it does nothing to the selected file(s). My intent is to have the Tag/Album Art/Image Type change from "Not Specified" to "Cover (front)".

I presume you also selected "Front" in the image type option?

Hmmm, well it works fine here so I don't really know what to suggest. Are you using the confirmation screen option? Could you send me a copy of the html (right click and select view source)?

I don't know how to do this any other way. There is only 1 piece of album art embedded in the file(s). It says Not Specified. If I check the box, or if I don't check the box, it does nothing. I'm sorry if I'm just missing something. I don't mean to be an annoyance. I do appreciate your help.

Change the drop down option to "Other" or "Any".. currently you have it set to "Front Cover".

@steviegt - I'm glad you like the script! :)

@nohitter151 - thanks for helping out, I think I'd got confused there somewhere!

[quote="Seeker"]Did I miss an answer somewhere to, "how to extract with the image 'type'" - i.e. "ALBUMNAME_front.jpg", "ALBUMNAME_back.jpg", "ALBUMNAME_MediaLabel.jpg", etc... as the tags have defined each image?

And; is there a way to add fields to the script? Or, will other fields be added in a later version?
I'd love to see:
- BOTH Artist and AlbumArtist to choose either, or both
- the text that has been entered into the description field - i.e. "CD1" and "CD2" as I've entered them for MediaLabel images - or Disc# - so if I have the 2 CD images, I can extract them named as such.
- ...and any/all other MM fields, naturally... :>[/i]

Trouble with adding mask fields based on the image properties is that they work for export but not for import. Also the strings I think are going to be difficult as many of them are not as straight forward as "front" and "back". :-?

I can certainly add some extra mask fields in the next version, including the ones you have suggested.

The EXE files are for MM2 and the MMIP files are for MM3 (as depicted but the different logos). I am no longer updating my scripts for MM2, hence why only the MMIP tends to be for the latest version.

I see - perhaps you could add a caption to each icon? Or an "X" or something beside the MM2 icons to show they're not being updated?
Maybe a table at the bottom of the page referencing the 'last MM version supported' vs. 'current version'?

In any case, I again thank you for all the work you've done scripting!
