I'm running Android 10 on my galaxy S10+, and have copied a script (from MM) saved as fwdrevbuttons.vbs.
But, I've no idea what to do now. If I go to MediaMonkey on my phone, I see only 2 folders, 'artworks' and 'files'. In 'files' there are 3 files (nomedia mmstore and storageinfo)
I'd be grateful if somebody could point me in the right direction. In the past 50+ years I've written many programs, but I'm a complete newbie at scripts. I've looked at "Introduction to scripting", but even, "Auto-scripts are located in the Scripts\Auto folder and its OnStartup method is executed when MediaMonkey starts." confuses me. Do I create a scripts\auto folder somewhere? I've no idea what "OnStartup" means.
I'm willing to spend time on this, but I'd like a push in the right direction. Maybe, "coding for idiots" or something like that ??
Thanks, John Owen
Help Please, I'm a newbie
Re: Help Please, I'm a newbie
Scripts only work on MediaMonkey on Windows, not on MediaMonkey for Android.

Thank you, Lowlander
The search continues for a media player that has a 30 second (for example) forward/back buttons. They're handy when I'm listening to an audiobook
