I'm running this same version of MM Gold:Lifetime in Windows 7 and I'm also having this problem. However, I think I have some clues as to what is causing it. I run MM4 with a non-admin user and had used it to set up the MM4 DLNA server. During the Install server process, I'm asked to enter the password for the non-admin user by M4 and the admin user by Windows. After completing the DLNA set up, a server process is started for the non-admin user and works with the DLNA devices. However, when I close MM4, the DLNA server stops working with the DLNA devices.

After trying a lot of different things to fix this problem, I accidentally discovered that MM4 had also installed the DLNA server as a System process under the admin user, but the DLNA devices couldn't see it. I tried a PC restart and the MM DLNA server started, but only under the admin user and the DLNA devices still couldn't see it. Could this issue be caused by a Windows permissions problem during the DLNA server install ?

DLNA settings are per Windows User. So you need to run the Service as the same Windows User as MediaMonkey itself as those settings will be used.
