DLNA ands Samsung Smart TV

Post by HBarrison »

I am new to MMW and just completed creating my database of 8400 files and 300 Albums using MMW Gold.

I am now planning on installing a new Samsung that is connected to an A/V Receiver and a 5.1 surround sound system. Do I need to do anything to open the MM DLNA Server or can I just enable the Windows 10 DLNA Server?

MM and Music Library would connect to TV via Wi-Fi that is very clean because I use a MESH extender. Speakers are all hard wired to A/V Receiver. Harvey

You only need to enable Media Sharing in MediaMonkey (no Windows DLNA stuff) if you want to stream from MediaMonkey: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index. ... ervers/4.0

Firewall/Antivirus may need to be configured to allow MediaMonkey through: https://www.mediamonkey.com/support/kno ... ccessible/
