When I sync I am receiving an error message stating that tracks have failed to save. The tracks download fully during sync but are not saved to the device.

Not all tracks are affected but tracks that do fail will fail every time.

I'm having the same problem.

Can you both create MMW log file along with one in MMA as described in http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=21&t=69 so that we can compare what MMW send and MMA replies?

For Log sending please open support ticket and attach it there along with MMA LOG ID.

Logs created and submitted via support ticket.


As a bonus I found that my old tablet still had build 663 so I took the opportunity to confirm that the bug was introduced in 664. Sync was successful in 663 but the same tracks failed to save in 664.

I upgraded last night and have the same issue, also it would also fail when updating playcounts without new songs to download. I thought it was on my end and deleted my library and uminstalled. Is there a place to get 663 back until this is resolved?

No, you can't pick with beta will be installed and APK's are no longer published.

Same problem, tried uninstalling and removing all traces of the app in android but no change. I notice though that when installing and selecting SD card as location it does not ask me to grant access, the permissions in android/settings/apps says it has storage permissions but the app itself doesn't seem to be able to write or delete to the sd card.

Some new information. The tracks are being written to my internal storage during sync but then are being deleted immediately.

I used a file explorer to check the destination folders while a sync was running. Each file shows up in its correct location with the correct filename and looked like the correct file size but then it and its folders are deleted before the next file appears. I managed to create a copy of one track before it was deleted and the contents were correct too.

It looks like the files are being written successfully but the code that checks that the file was written is returning a failure.

Yes I've read everything.
Yes I've installed uninstalled both MMW and MMA multiple times.

I have granted permission to the SD card.

It looks like it's installing on MMA via WiFI but the tracks just don't materialize.

Folders appear for some lps but there is nothing in them. I get an error message saying "completed with errors" and "failed to save".

Installing ok via USB to MUSIC folder in MM folder on SD card.

I've never had these problems before.

It's a Galaxy Note 3. Always been kick ass.

Same problem; just one file, but it's the one file I just added so very frustrating

Let me know if I should provide any info; I currently have nothing new to add to what people have been saying already.

Thanks for the reports and logs. It's caused by a regression related to tracks that don't have an album defined.

Just for your info, all my new tracks failed to save and they all have an album defined.
