Which actual versions are you using and is the option to sync metadata back still enabled?

Yes, the option is still active. I tried to deactivate it, save settings, sync, activate, save settings and sync again. Unfortunately, it did not work.
Android: 1.3.2.0824
Windows 10: 4.1.21.1875

USB Sync will be improved in Latest MMA + MMW Beta that should be released soon.

Has this been fixed? I seem to be encountering the same issue. "Play Count" and "Last Played" are being registered on MMA, but they are not getting synced to MMW. When I hit "Sync now" on MMA, it just says "Everything is in sync."
MMA version: 1.3.2.0824 (with Pro license)
MMW version: 4.1.23.1881

Hi,
Just tested on My daughters Phone and as soon I pressed Sync now dialog showed ""Updating metadata on Server" and All was passed to MMW.

Yeah, I was really hoping the latest version fixed this issue, but it's still not working after the update to 1881 on my PC...

You may also need the latest
beta of MMA.

Hi.
Windows:
- Media Monkey 4.1.23.1881 (portable install)
Phone:
- Android 9 (Pie) - Security patch level Nov 5 2018
- Media Monkey v 1.3.2.0824
In the android app, I can see my play counts increasing and last play date is set when I listen to a song.
Syncing doesn't set the same in my mediamonkey library.
If I open the phone node in the media tree ("PH-1" in my case), and drill down to find the same song, the windows app doesn't seem to see the new last-played date - it's still set to a long time ago.
In the windows app - looking at the sync settings for my phone, I have
- Summary > Scan as soon as the device is connected : CHECK
- Auto-Sync->Library > Auto-sync file metadata from the device to the PC : CHECK
I tried completely uninstalling mediamonkey from my phone, then reinstalling & syncing my playlists again, but still the play count etc isn't updated back in windows, after listening to a track in the android app.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I would suggest that you update to latest Beta at

Hey, I updated to the beta version 1.3.3.0843, and it's syncing well again - play counts updating back in windows.

Having the same problem in 2019. Decent sync of play stats is almost the only reason I'm sticking with MM as it doesnt integrate with anything else I own. Android on 1.3.6.2887 Windows on 4.1.25.1895. Showing tracks with 15 plays (over time) that arent showing in windows over multiple syncs.
