No sound after one song in android auto

Hi,

when playing music through Android Auto, after the first song is played, I can hear no sound.
The player goes on to other songs, the play time goes on, but no sound is heard.
If I switch to any other app, I can hear sound, but if I return to MMA I don't.
If I skip to any other song no sound is coming out, however, If I go back to the first song the sound is back (but only for that song).
Using MMA beta 1.3.9.0921 on android 7

I did some more testing, and noticed that when I use android auto on my phone only (connected to car speakers via bluetooth), it works fine. The problem occurs when I connect the phone using usb cable, with android auto displayed on the car display.
I also tried any option that seemed relevant (gapless output, normalization, etc) to no avail.

Right after the problem occurs send a debug log from MMA (from About in the Menu) and reply here with the logID. The log may provide details on why this happens.
