Make sure the SD Card Device Profile isn't disabled under Tools > Options > Portable Device Sync in MMW.

the sd card is present in MMW (always synchronized until yesterday via wifi), while it is not visible in the synchronization options in MMA. i tried to reinstall (keeping the data) MMA but the problem remains ...

Strange.

Can you please do this so that we can see how MMA see the SDcard:
1. Start MMA
2. Use folders to browse SDCard (make screenshot of main Folders listing)
3. navigate to one file on SDCard and play it
4. use ⋮ -> About MediaMonkey -> Send Logs -> WRITE DOWN LOG ID so that you can post it here -> Send LOG
5. Go to Options -> Enter Options of Internal
6. use ⋮ -> About MediaMonkey -> Send Logs -> WRITE DOWN LOG ID so that you can post it here -> Send LOG
7. Create new reply here, add screenshot and LOG IDs (note which is which)

That I hope will give us enough information on what is going on.

maybe the problem is due to the sd card ... it is readable but not editable or formattable ... tomorrow I will try a new sd card, but at this point I think it is a hardware problem ...

Resolved. the problem was actually the sd card corrupt, with a new sd card everything works fine
