One specific album misfiled on device
Per MMW5, I have 1726 albums. My entire library is synced to the card on my Samsung Galaxy S20+5G.
There is one specific album that is not being filed correctly on the phone's storage device.
It started with a bad tagging of the album in MMW, long since corrected and the storage library on my PC reflects this corrected state. But it's still misfiled on the phone's SD card. I've even deleted the folders on the phone, re-tagged the album tracks in MMW and resynced, and it's still happening.
Just this ONE album.
Since it's just one album, it seems to me to be unlikely to be the sync settings in MMW, but I checked anyway, and they're good. And so far as I know, there are no settings on the MMA side to have anything to do with this.
Not a major thing all things considered, but it... annoys me.

Are those files of the Music Type in MM5?

Yes. Here's the Properties for one of the tracks in the album per MMW5. https://imgur.com/iGgspBv
Here's the Properties for the same track per MMA. https://imgur.com/GQ2Z7HT
For comparison, here's the properties for a random other track in MMA. https://imgur.com/nG4MX9C
Comparing the two screen shots from MMA, you can see the path for the first one is wrong. The artist name is not "01". Track two has it as artist "02", etc.
Here's a screen shot of the entire album by track in MMW5 showing the file paths on my Windows PC. https://imgur.com/mAeFyDJ

Have you tried clearing tags and retagging in MediaMonkey 5: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHel ... pdate_Tags

Re: One specific album misfiled on device
Only two tracks showed up there, neither are in this album. Just a pair of random items that are filed correctly.
Re: One specific album misfiled on device
Did you try clearing the tags of the Album that is the problem and then Update Tags (and then Sync) to see if that fixes the Album

Re: One specific album misfiled on device
Yes, when I first saw the issue - before I even synced the new album in the first place.

Can you offer a sample file from the Album to via a Support Ticket: https://www.mediamonkey.com/support

Re: One specific album misfiled on device
Hi,
Looking at your ticket can you please share filoe location screen settings from you profile eg. this one:
I suspect that sync mask was wrong initially and that it transferred like that to device.

Re: One specific album misfiled on device
Ok, update:
I deleted the album from MMW5 with the option to remove the files from the drive as well as the info from the database, and ensured that the tracks were gone from the library, playlist(s) and disk, then synced. Sync options are set to remove unselected library files.
The full album was still in MMA.
I deleted the album from MMA, and the misfiled files on the device, including their individual folders, were then removed.
I then re-added the tracks to MMW5 and then synced, and they're placed in the correct places. Here's where it goes sideways again:
In the process of this, I realized that the name of the band was incorrect on another album and fixed it in MMW5. On the desktop, the database and the files themselves on the drive were updated with the new name and path. Synced, and the files were NOT renamed or moved on the phone. Changing the sync to remove all other media files and syncing did not move the renamed items on the phone.
The tagging in MMA appears to be updating correctly, but not the file folder directory when retagging media changes the file path on the desktop or removing media from MMW.
