More specifically, when I sync MMA with MMW via USB, and the album art is embedded in the file on the Windows machine AND there is also a JPG in the same folder as the MP3, what is transferred to the Android device, and what does MMA choose to display?
I've long assumed that MMA always displayed embedded art by default, and it never occurred to me that other jpgs might be have been transferred from Windows to Android until recently when MMA displayed art that I know for certain was never embedded in the file. That JPG picture was in the Windows folder where the MP3 lived. As a test I deleted the spurious JPG and re-synced, and the proper embedded art was displayed.
So, when I sync, are ALL image files in the same folder as the MP3 also transferred to the Android device? I hope not - I only want the embedded art to be transferred and displayed. The other files in that Windows folder are there for other purposes.

The first image (in Artwork tab) of a file on the Album should be used by MMA.
