Build 2251

This is a problem that happens most of the time, but not all of the time. I made a post about it last night, but the problem suddenly just disappeared and the device connected and updated my phone playlists.

But this is a problem. On clicking "Sync Now" on my phone, the "connecting" circle spins for a while and then I get a "connection failed" message.

My phone has been connected to MM5 for several months without problems. The server name is correct in the phone (under "Select Sync Server" it is named correctly).

This is a critical problem for me as I use MM5 as much on my phone as I do on the desktop.

Start with checking if UPnP can connect to the MediaMonkey Server.

I managed to resolve the sync problem as follows:

- click on Select Sync Server in android MM app settings
- wait for about 8-10 minutes with searching circle spinning
- eventually MM finds the same sync server I was connected to before
- I click to connect to the server again
- then I am able to sync

Nothing else works.

Following this procedure, if I try to sync again, I get the same error message and have to repeat the process described earlier in this post. So, clearly upnp can connect to the MM5 server, but for some reason it is failing to do so in the normal way.

This is extra info to my earlier post, please repeat your instructions if you need me to do something in particular to deal with this problem.
