media monkey randomly starting while connecting to bluetooth devices

I will be listening to a video, when I connect to a blue tooth device(speaker, car) about 5 seconds in media monkey starts playing music. I then have to stop it in media monkey. What is strange is that it always happens when I turn up the volume on the bluetooth speaker to max. has anyone experienced this and how can I fix. I think I deleted and reinstalled but I can try that again.

In the MMA settings there is an option Resume play on connection, make sure it's disabled. You may also want to disable Always respond to remote buttons.
