[SOLVED] Samsung Android 11 breaks 1.4.2.0945 playback?

My Samsung Galaxy S10e updated Android to 11 a few days ago, and ever since playback seems to be broken in MM Gold. It will start playing a track, but just stop (not pause) after somewhere between 20 seconds and a minutes. Just trying on "Do Not Disturb" mode....nope, made it to two minutes and stopped. My Samsung tablet hasn't been updated and has the same version of MM on it, but does not display this behavior.

<google google google>OK, maybe has to do with power settings on the apps being reset, trying a new approach....and I think I've got the solution! For Samsung Android 11:

- Go to settings / Battery and device care
- Tap Battery, then Background usage limits
- That's where they've moved the never sleeping apps to! Add MediaMonkey / MM Pro to the list of apps that never sleeps.

Never had to set that before, but it seems to be helping. Hope this helps others!

I’ve just come across the same issue, uninstalling and reinstalling the app fixed it for me.

I did the upgrade on my Galaxy S10+ this morning and experienced the same problem. Just uninstalled and reinstalled MM, and awaiting the app to rebuild itself, hopefully this fixes the problem for me also

Maybe the problem is related to uninstalled or dropped updates?
