Hello everybody
i discovered MM with a great pleasure finally what i'd love exist
rather doing fatal mistake i prefer talk about what i want and listen yours opinions
first : i got a folder on my PC with all my favorites tracks (3404)
i usually copy all tracks on my phone (listen and choose to delete tracks)
and i delete on PC and copy on phone again (boring..)
well i want to could delete from my phone and sync back to PC
MM seems to do the job very well, i'm afraid to lost data with a bad configuration, by exemple :
on my phone i don't know what activate with options below, do i need to do more ?
SYNC SETTINGS
Sync to this location (enable)
Auto-sync device content ( disable)
Delete unselected content copies ( disable)
Delete all unselected content ( disable)
i using the 15 days trial sync MM option and using win10 on phone MM 1.4.2.0945
thanks for any help
eric

Re: newcomer
MediaMonkey won't delete files from the PC, even if they were deleted from the phone.
The delete options in the Device Profile will delete files from the phone on Sync that aren't on the Sync selection, but nothing will be removed from the PC.

Re: newcomer
so only what i do on server (PC) [delete or create a playlist and more ...] will be repeat on the phone ? not the opposite ???
Re: newcomer
Deletions, yes, they can only be replicated one-way (PC to device). Tagging/Playlists can be synced both ways. Device to PC is set (enabled) on the Auto-Sync (--> Library) tab.

Re: newcomer
My solution to the problem is to use the Ratings tag on my phone and tag songs I want to delete with 1 star.
Ratings will be synced back to the PC.
Then on the PC, I sort my Ratings and delete all songs with 1 star.
