Search capabilities over UPNP/DLNA [#17791]

Hello,
I have installed MMA on my android phone, and use it to receive and cast my Foobar music library from my PC to Chromecast. All is fine, except that when I search for anything e.g. artists or titles, no results are returned. It will find local files - is it limited to this? Similar apps have worked with the Foobar media library over upnp/dlna, but I prefer MMA as it also plays video, making it 'all in one'!
Thanks for any help that is offered.

MMA can search DLNA. Please send a debug log (from About in MMA) after a Search has failed for you and reply here with the logID.

Hi Couldn't get a log file to upload so instead I've sent log TNP68A59QN to your helpdesk under ticket #1129.

Hope that's OK and thanks for your swift reply.

Anyone received my log on your helpdesk please? It has been there for about 10 days. Log number/ticket number as in above post.
Thanks hopefully!

Hi,
the issue is tracked as https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=17791
unfortunately, I am not able to fix this issue currently, because the Foobar media server still returns zero search results on all correct search queries. I will try to fix it to MMA 2.1.0. Until then, I suggest using MM5 https://www.mediamonkey.com/windows
instead of Foobar media server, which is fully supported by MMA.

Thanks.
