Therefore don't expect too much. If it's disappointing, it won't be so hard. If it's good, you'll be more surprised (and that seems better to me).

Rusty said they will first release the 2.5.5 version. Since it currently is in RC6 we just have to wait a bit more...

Big_Berny, said lots of truth in this post.
It is worse on our side, I use/test/fix MM 3.0 14+ hours a day, have lots of questions that I would ask people here like will that blue look better here or should that be better placed here or..., reading wishlist, finding solutions, resolving issues no matter how small they (from small ones I get creeps as they are harder to find and fix), make descriptions, .... The worst thing is that this is just small part and my small contribution to MM 3.0 which I can't share with all of eager users here and I want to share it :( It's 02:30AM here I'm taking a break from coding with reading Forum and then I'll force myself to finish one more fix before gone to sleep. Knowing to be little step closer to see "Announcement: MediaMonkey 3.0 Alpha is available" as soon as I wake up.

I'll be very happy when MM3 arrives, but I also really applaud the developers' strategy of tackling bugs and focusing on the stability of the software first.
