MM5 - CD Ripping in built 2183 [#15799]

Post by gamb2009 »

I have tried to Rip an album in MM5 built 5.0.0.2183 with a very disappointing result: MM does not builds the output New Path with the Detination rules. In my case, a track in mi CD Drive with Old Path "D:\Track01.cda" will become "D:\Track01.flac", regardless of the destination rules for the new path.

Hi,
That is strange, there was a bug in earlier version of MM5 but it as fixed. Are you sure you are using latest version from https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... 86639&sd=d ?
Can you please try this:
a) Install MM5 as portable (C:\MM5Temp) -> Skip/cancel all new version wizard -> Insert CD -> And try to set path/mask
b) Delete/Rename persistent.json (and/or mediamonkey.ini) from "C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey5 (or from <INSTALLFOLDER>\Portable and try rip CD again.

HI, I think that I got it:

It seems that the steps are:

1) Select some files > right-click > Convert format...
On the 'Convert Files' dialog select choice
(o) Convert file(s), replacing the originals
and click [OK]

2) Insert a CD and try to rip
Destinations paths are all like 'D:\Track01.flac' and cannot be changed!
