Re: Truncated menus
Hi,
MM5 looks on system settings and font enlargement. Try to set Font to 150% In Display settings.

Re: Truncated menus
Try a PC restart. Did you adjust font size or Windows DPI and what Skin are you using?

Re: Truncated menus
Hello,
same with me.
Using high res screen 3840x2160: right click menus are tiny, truncated and not usable.
Downsizing to 1600x900 makes it ok. Setting res in between 1920x1080 makes menus partly truncated.
Using font size 150% doesn't work either, still partly truncated.
Any idea?
Thanks.
Jörg

sorry, forgot to mention: tried different common skins, no change. Font size 250%. Tried 150%, still truncation, and fonts are too small.

Found solution: "disable fullscreen optimization" needs to be checked (active).

Re: Truncated menus
One thing to try is to rename persistent.json and then start MediaMonkey. This would avoid any mess from previous installs in the settings. If the problem persists you can return to the old persistent.json with your previous settings.

Here u are:
Right-click on the .exe file of your app > go to Properties.
Go to the compatibility option.
Check the 'Disable fullscreen optimizations' box> hit Apply.
Have fun, Jörg

Re: Truncated menus
Truncated menus are back.
With the latest Beta (2275) the "Disable fullscreen optimizations"-Option doesn't work anymore (It did with 2274).
System: Acer Aspire R7 372T
Windows: 20H2 64bit (19042.630)

Re: Truncated menus
This should be fixed in build 2277+. Can you confirm?
Thanks!

Re: Truncated menus
2277 or 2281 fixed the problem.
Re: Truncated menus
I don't normally see this error, but I got a truncated display on 2281.
I also noted a number of issues when the main display covered up a modal dbox that MM5 was waiting upon ... ie. the modal dbox very briefly flashed open at the top of the z order ... but then something on the main panel must have been refreshed because the dbox disappeared ... since the dbox was modal MM5 appears as if it has hung ... workaround is to minimise all apps (Windows key + D) ... then click on MM5 icon on the task bar
Want a dark skin for MM5? This is the one that works best for me .. elegant, compact & clear.
Re: [SOLVED] Truncated menus
MediaMonkey_5.0.0.2338 standard version, Still has same issue on diff platforms. On W8.1 WMC, on hi res, hi font size, no problem. But same build on W7WMC, w DPI at 290 (or 150), or with 'Disable fullscreen optimizations' checked, the upper menus, File, Tools etc, are all truncated. Build 5 otherwise works fine on W7. Sorry I'm late to the party.
