[REQ] Initiate wifi sync from MMW

Is there any way to do this? After doing a bunch of work maintaining the library in MM5, I'd love it if I could start the wifi sync process from my desktop, rather than fetching my phone to do it there.

There is no way to do this currently.

A problem with this is that MMA would need to be constantly informing MMW that it's on network and available as otherwise MMW doesn't know if the device is available and what IP it can be reached.

That something we can consider adding during MMA 2.0 Alpha/Beta testing. I would firstly like that feature, as it will automate scheduled syncing issues around my house members.

No, wi-fi Sync can only be started from MMA.
