No results found when searching for UTF8 strings [#17916]

I just realized that MM5 has an issue when searching for UTF8 strings. In the image above, you will notice how the song that is playing right now in the playing list is available in my library, and when I try searching for it, it will show no results found.

HI,
Can you try to change search settings in Tools -> Options -> Library -> Search to Respect diacritics and see if that helps?

Thought I'd share a QoL improvement. I reformatted my PC and reinstalled MM5 and had to switch it to respect diatrics again. After doing so and searching, no results were being found, until I closed MM5 completely and reopened it. The QoL improvement would be to either restart MM5 after switching the setting, or reload it somehow.

Kind regards

A restart isn't needed, nor something I've needed to do when switching this setting.

Which build of MM5 are you on?
