The above file is present in the following folder:
C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey5
And seems to be a consequence of a MMW5 "normal" installation that has referred to a previous MMW4 installation(?).
I say this because it seems to have lines in that relate to MMW4 only add-ons e.g.
[RegExpPresets]
....
[RegExpOptions]
....
[MagicNodes]
....
[CustomNodeMasks]
....
[ExportM3UsForChildNodes]
....
[Lyricator]
....
[BatchArtFinder]
....
Will this "bloated" INI file have any negative consequences? Will there be any "conflicts".
Should I do a clean install at some point to try and remove these entries?

Hi,
They are ignored in MM5, but if ever those plugins get ported they will use your settings.
If you want to start clean then Delete ini and start MM5 again to recreate it and say NO to import MM4 settings.

Thanks. Done. INI reduced from 793 kb to 43kb. MMW5 does seem to start a little faster!
