[Bug] When scrolling through the artist list it jumps around [#18191, #18679]

I am not sure if this has been reported yet, but if I am in the album or artist list, where it is just the list of songs with the album art and you scroll up or down it kinda jumps around and is not smooth. I have a video demonstrating the issue, but I don't think I can upload a video to the post.

Which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey 5 are you using and what is your smooth scrolling setting under Tools > Options > Performance from the Main Menu?

Can you check your DPI settings (system settings/Ease of access ... 'make text bigger' and 'make everything bigger' settings) ? I see some scrolling issues in List and List (by album) views.

I'm not seeing this with 5..0.2.2527. Are you seeing this with with 5.0.2 RC-3 or later?

If yes, a video would be great. Also, does it occur with all nodes/Views or only specific ones (e.g. Music > Genre > GenreName | List by Album OR Music > Location > PathToMusic | List by Album OR some other node|View)?

It looks like it only happens with large lists, but my music library isn't as big as some of them out there. If I pull up individual artists or albums, the lists don't scroll so it does not happen. Any time I have to scroll it occurs.

Did the video work? I don't use youtube much.

Now that I look at the video, it doesn't happen with the scroll bars, but when using the scroll wheel on the mouse.

Yes video is ok, only I have no idea how to reproduce it on my PC.
It seems, you have some custom skin, could you try it with some default skin? Does it do the same?
Do you have some special mouse setting for wheel, some special driver?

I just un-installed MM5, rebooted, and re-installed and I am getting the same issue with no add-ins installed. but it does seem limited to the scroll wheel on the mouse, using the scroll bar it does not happen

Can you try jaype's workaround from this thread and see if that fixes the issue for you? Still gotta find out how to reproduce it, but if it's resolved by the same workaround, we can narrow it down.
