Invalid characters in path [#18387]

Post by netwiz »

When I try to sync I get 'invalid characters in path'. What characters in what path? Can't the app tell me? It's been working fine - suddenly this. Any ideas?
thanks

Which Build (Help > About) are you using? Does the error show the file it happens for?

5.0.1.2433 (it would be useful to be able to copy and paste from that window)

I get an error box (i'd attach the image but don't think I can)
Application throw an exception invalid characters in path
Would you like to restart Mediamonkey in safe mode?

Hi,
Strange, it should not trigger restart and crash report.

See my Signature about attaching screenshot to forum post.

I'm also getting this error if I right click and do 'send to' just on a single track including those that synced before.

I can sync with internal memory on the player but not to the sd card (again, it worked before). MMW does display the contents of the library on the card and I can play the tracks on the PC.

I've done that. It did not fix the problem.

Isn't this somehow related to a latest update of MMA? When did you update MMA (MediaMonkey for Android) and when this issue started to appear?

Hi,
Thank you, I hope that we will find the real cause for it soon.
