Playlists

You know what would be nice? Every time an update comes out, MM doesn't wipe out my playlists and I have to either find them or rebuild them.

Hi,
My library with 7k+ of playlists is 16 years old and countless updates, not a single time MM deleted my Playlists.

How do you update MM? Unless stated differently MM updates should go on top of existing installation, No uninstall.

Can you please check if maybe there is MediaMonkey folder under "c:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore" and if yes Move/Delete it out of there and copy MM5.DB to "c:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey5\" as VirtualStore is managed by windows when falsely put MM into virtualization state.

Additionally if folder is not there please check your AntiVirus application for cleaner options as some Apps liek WebRoot and Norton can clean "c:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey5\" on update install.
Best regards,
