Resizing limited in MM5?

Post by mk4kc5cmc4@gmail.com »

Hi all,

Upgraded to MM5 recently & love it except - it seems like there's a limit to how small you can make the program's window. Just due to the arrangement of my monitors, I tend to make MM a very short, rectangular window. This works perfectly fine in 4, but in 5, I can't make it any smaller than ~50% of the height of the whole monitor. Is this a bug? If not, is there a way to remove the limit on the minimal size?

Thanks in advance

There are limits to keep the program functional. It may depend on your resolution/DPI/Text Size settings in Windows as to how small it can get. For me it's less than 1/3 of the monitors width and a little more than 1/3 of the monitors height.

For me both MM4/MM5 has similar minimal-size limits, but maybe it depends on particular resolution/DPI/Text Size.

As for editing the minimal size, try to open mainwindow.html (inside the MM5 install folder) and change the value

Code: Select all

data-minimalSize='800px'
to something lower, is this what does the trick or are you referring horizontal size ?
