Metadata/tags not displaying as set in MM5 Pro Gold

Hello,
My media library contains over 40Gb of mp3's and I was hoping that I could organize this via MM5; however after tagging and organizing most if not all my mp3's with proper artist, album, album artist, and artwork. The data entered in MM5 does not appear in File Explorer when under the corresponding tag column. Is there a simple way to ensure that the data entered in MM5 is written onto the file (encoded, converted), whereas other programs/apps (Itunes, MM Android) on separate computers/devices could read these changes properly?
