Flac files not added to library

I added some FLAC files to my unrated music folder. It's supposed to add to the library (via Add/Rescan files to the Library) and auto-organize. I tried scanning now, restarting the app, and cutting and pasting the files back in, but they don't get added. I can get mp3 files to load from the same folder, but these FLAC files don't.

Did you check if FLAC is enable to be scanned: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHel ... cans_Files

And if so, checked the Entire Library > Location node (enable under Tools > Options > Collections & Views) if the files are really not in the Library by browsing to their folder.

I've verified both steps. I have all options selected for Audio, and I'm looking directly at the Entire Library.

When navigating under Entire Library > Location > FOLDER IN QUESTION, the actual folder does not show up, however....

Can you see and play the files through Folders in the Media Tree? Have you verified that the files are not set to Hidden in File Explorer as those files will be skipped on scanning?

Also do the Scan Results show why the files were skipped?

The files are not hidden in Explorer. However, they do not show up in the MM5 Media Tree.

I've run the add files command again, and while the files do show up in the Auto-tag feature, they do not get added. There's no dialog to say why they weren't added either.

By that, you mean that they also don't show in Folders in the Media Tree?

Correct. They were not in the FOLDERS section, or in ENTIRE LIBRARY.

However, I did find that I could manually add the files when using the Auto-tag feature when adding new files.

Does MediaMonkey play the files (either after you did add them or from File Explorer)?

They did not.

On a hunch, I deleted the files and re-downloaded them. Now all is fine. My guess is they were corrupted.
