Incorrect count [#18120]

Post by Jenny Lucas »

FYI I've seen this a few times

When Auto-tagging, I see XXX of YYY, but the X is higher than Y!

Example: Auto-tag: Tracks 401 to 335 of 335

Virtual Machine on VMWare Workstation 16.

Do you still see this on build 2420: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=86639&sd=d

Does this happen when doing multiple Auto-Tags in a row, or just when doing an Auto-Tag on a larger set of files?

I haven't tried the newer builds. I'm on 2338. I'll update to 2420 and update this later.

I have seen it when selected multiple tracks, then auto-tag.
The smallest values I saw was 101 of 35.

On v2420,
Tracks 1 to 100 of 114. A good start. I will keep watching... and so some bigger sets.

Hmmm, I just realized, when I saw the problem, I was also doing Volume Analysis. So that was running simultaneously on a different set of tracks. That has finished now, so I'm just doing the tags.

Got it again.
Tracks 1 to 100 of 114 (good)
Tracks 201 to 114 of 114 (bad)
Yes, that was the same set.

When it finished the first 100, I selected the checkbox in the title row, then pressed "Tag and Continue".
The updated values showed as above.
