Need help pointing M'M's Output to Reaper's Input

Post by mikehende »

Hey guys, I am seeking to play MM in Reaper's DAW. Reaper has an option called Rearoute in which ReaRoute acts as an ASIO driver for OTHER programs, i.e. it's not connected to physical audio cards at all. It kind of replaces an audio card in order to record realtime streams from other applications in Reaper.

Can anyone help me with this please?

Have you checked if it's listed as Audio Device in the Output Plugin configuration: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHel ... ing_Output

Are you able to set it as a default Audio device in Windows itself?

Then I would suggest contacting its developers to see how this can be used in other programs.

Having problem with the very first step, installing the Asio driver. It shows as installed here:

but it does not show either in Windows Sound Properties or in MM's Output config options. Only VAC shows in both.

It's not installed as you put the compressed package there.

Look at your the screenshot. it shows a .7z extension instead of the .dll files from the first screenshot.

I got no idea what I am missing here, so very frustrating. The download button in your link which leads to that chinese site, there is only that one download file which is now in the MM Plugin folder. Not understanding your last post about my screenshot I went searching and this time downloaded this file:

https://www.happymonkeying.com/plugin.php?q=300021

So now I have 3 files in the plugin folder:

If none of those 3 files is not what I am supposed to download into this plugin folder then I have no more ideasor what file needs to be in that plugin folder, sorry.

.7z is compressed file format like Zip and Rar.

Does it show up in MediaMonkey now?
