I have songs in one directory. The path is correct in the main MM window and the song will play if selected in Windows file manager from that directory.
However, when the song is selected in MM "playback failed (a different directory path) is inaccessible."
I have tried rebuilding the data base to no avail.
Any suggestions?

Re: Play back path wrong
So, the Path in MediaMonkey matches the Path in File Explorer exactly (and includes a drive letter)?
Which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey 5 are you using and do the files show in the Music > Files to Edit > Dead Links node: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHel ... Dead_Links

Hi,
Have you also tried to use Folder browser in MM and manually navigate to track and once you navigate do MM play it?

Re: Play back path wrong
Copied From File Explorer (path to song only)
G:\Music\Al Kooper and Michael Bloomfield\Super Session
Copied from MM File Properties (includes song)
G:\Music\Al Kooper and Michael Bloomfield\Super Session\60 - Alberts Shuffle.mp3
Far as I can tell .. they are identical.

Re: Play back path wrong
Humm .... I left the PC for a while .... came back ... posted this update ....
Tried to play the song again ... this time ... it worked.
I had used Auto organize to move the file and it was the old folder that was included in the error message. MM was apparently trying to play the file from the old folder that did not exist any longer. Now ... given a bit of time ... MM seems to have found the new location.
Dang if I know ... I'm not technically incompetent (most days anyway) but MM is new to me.
As I continue to organize my mess, I will learn.
Thanks for the prompt feed back.
