Ok I will look into sending a support later today.

The subfolders are not showing up when I open the "file monitor" dialog. It shows the first 50 artist subfolder within my my music folder but as previously mentionned the 480 or so others are not being listed within the "file monitor" file browser and they are not being imported.

Get back later...

Thank you so much.

Then it sounds like something else and unfortunately MediaMonkey on MAC isn't officially supported. Could it be a special character issue?

I tried installing a few other things in wine tricks but still the folders never go beyond 50 subfolders within one folder...

This is not only true with this music folder, I went in other folders containing several hundred folders and it stops at exactly 50 in alphabetical order.

Anyone have any suggestions? I have no idea what else to try...

Everything else is working flawlessly in MM

I am a die hard MM fan and it is useless to me if it only recognizes 1/4 of my artists unfortunately... :/

Thanks for the help.

I have tried everything including mapping the serial number of the drive in the drive config and still no go.

I have also verified a few folders on the mac drive and indeed it displays folders that go way beyond 50 subfolders without any issues from within media monkey.

I have also tried copying my entire library to an external usb hard drive and I had the same result.

Stops after 50 subfolders (50 of my 520 artists under "Music")

I am desperate and will try anything at this point. I cannot copy it to the same drive as my mac operating system due to size limitations (400gb music library and 128gb SSD)

Thanks.

MediaMonkey for Mac

Hi, iTunes is great if you use an iPhone but for Android folks who also use a Mac - we would also like to sync our media via MediaMonkey. There is probably no other desktop/mobile media syncing programs that do Audiobook and podcasts too.

MM under MAC OSX with Parallels Keyboard Issue

Post by pbspace »

I run MM on a Mac with Parallels. I have a Logitech MK700 Keyboard. The keyboard works but not the media keys. MM is pretty much the only program that I use with Windows and Parallels. The media keys (obviously) work with any other software on the Mac - Spotify, iTunes, VLC etc. Any idea for how to get the media keys or any shortcuts to be able to play, stop, pause? Thanks

just went through the process described by vivanb with both wineskin and winebottler, and even though I've installed:

I3codecX
Mac Core Audio
vcrun6
vb6run
corefonts

I am not able to play mp3... wavs play fine though.

did anyone get their MM to play mp3 on os x?

Why don't you support Media Monkey for Mac?

This is the best news I have seen in ages. MM is one of the only things I truly miss from my PC/Windows days.

Do not celebrate yet, first it needs to be released for Windows.

A guy can dream though. Glad I got out of the Windows world when I did, but there's a MM-sized hole in my heart.
