1207: File/Edit/View, etc. Menu Problem BUG#5192

When clicking on File, Edit, View, etc., the dropdown menu only displays for about a half a second and there's no way to select any option. Reinstalling 1204 corrects this.

Mine works for me both in my installation over 1204 and my installation over 3.0.6.

Hmmm .... skin problem maybe? I'm using the Noir one. Will have to check this.

Definitely not a skin problem. Extension/plugin/script conflict maybe?

That is possible because I cannot use the toolbar customization without moving all my scripts from the folder. I tried uninstalling to find the culprit but I got frustrated (too many scripts). But try what I did, move all the scripts except the ones that came with MM out of the scripts folder and move them back one at a time to see if you can find the culprit. I usually start with the auto scripts because these are a smaller list. Which scripts do you have installed, maybe I can narrow your list down by the ones which I have installed?

Its minilyrics that's causing the issue, uninstalling it fixes the issue.

The cause of this issue seems to be Minilyrics Embedder.
Only as for Minilyrics, the issue does not seem to occur.

Yes and exiting minilyrics from system tray results in an infinite loop of error messages.

OK, glad I'm not the only one who noticed this. I was also thinking it mas the MiniLyrics embedder as I was noticing right after opening the context-menu the MiniLyrics box would look like it received focus and become active (from Grey to Blue title bar).

I also was suffering from this problem and was hoping a cause could be isolated. Not being able to right click on anything is quite annoying.

I hope it's an easy fix because minilyrics is some thing I use all of the time.

I'm using the space left by minilyrics to try MonkeyRock. And so far I'm amazed by it!
(Especially by the "biography" and "similar artists")
I will surely keep it!

But I have a 19inch screen and I wonder where I'll find the space to fit both.

I'm lost. what can I do?

Btw are the devs aware of this incompatibility issue.
I didn't see a mantis ticket about it.
It's kinda a big issue. If you go in the addons tab of the site, you can see
minilyrics is a recommended addon along with the embedded minilyrics script.

I didn't create one because I couldn't figure out how to report the issue. Is it a toolbar problem or a script conflict problem. I thought it was related to this one, 5121, I could add a link and a note to that ticket. If the devs think they are unrelated, they can separate it.
