Post by Teknojnky »

I have the following issues attemping to resize the main MM window only while on secondary display (left side):

[secondary display: left] - [primary display: right]

windows 7 x64

top left corner: horizontal drag works, vertical and diagonal fails
top right corner: horizontal drag works, vertical and diagonal fails
bottom left corner: horizontal and vertical drag works, diagonal fails
bottom right corner: horizontal and vertical drag works, diagonal fails

additionally, bottom right corner: a false diagonal drag cursor appears above player at the now playing bottom right corner

see X on image

edit: Addtionally, the MINIMIZE/MAXIMIZE/CLOSE buttons do not work while on the secondary display, have to close via tray icon > exit

What if you primary is on left and secondary on right?

What GPU you have as Mine support Eyefinity and old one had ATi HydraVision.

Upper Border resizing not working on any skin (Win XP)

Post by Friedrich »

Upper border resizing (horizontal drag) is not working on any skin here.
Works only with the Windows system theme (override skins option)

I do not have problems on my ATi but I tested on friends nVidia and it showed similar as yours KJIACC.

EDIT: I was able to replicate on My PC. Although I need to change res while in Party mode.

EDIT 2: I added KJIACC issue into http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=7109

Looks like a different issue to me?
- I use a single 24'' monitor (no Multi-Monitor setup)
- The problem occurs only in skinned mode
- Only the upper horizontal border is not resizable
- the "maximize" and the "restore" option is not available in MMs taskbar tab (bug?), but maximizing (="full desktop"?) with the upper right button in MMs own window
works without problem

I've just ran into this issue in a single-monitor set-up. The three buttons do nothing, and the only options available from the task bar are Minimize/Restore and Close. No option to maximize the window, anywhere? :\

I'm experiencing a similar problem.
I have a second monitor on the left side.

If I extend the MM window on the left screen,

I cannot move the window by the titlebar anymore.
( The pointer gets replaced by the resize symbol ) ( and it resizes the window instead of moving it )

If I resize the window to put it back only on my main screen,

It goes back to the normal behaviour.

Upgrade to 1343 and still stuck. Anyone at least know how I can get the window maximized?

EDIT: Nevermind. Dragging the upper left corner to resize the window "unlocked" the Minimize/Maximize/Close buttons.

1349:

minimize, maximize, close buttons now work with MM window on the LEFT SECONDARY screen

however, titlebar does not work correctly, only the VERTICAL mouse pointer appears, you can not 'grab' the title bar to drag the main window frame.

Additionally, once the screen is maximized, NONE of the minimize/restore/close buttons function anymore.

I realized that I can reproduce that in a single monitor setup too.

Dreadlau wrote:Hello.

There is an issue when draging the MM window to the left of the desktop.
Once part of the window is off-screen, the cursor on the tittlebar change to the "resize cursor".
And it's not possible to drag it anymore.

To reproduce
1) simply drag the MM window to the left of the screen till it's partially off-screen.
2) release the left mouse button
=> Notice the cursor symbol has changed and the window is no longer draggable

See this video:
http://img718.imageshack.us/i/fz5.mp4/

Also notice the little titllebar flashing at the beginning of the video.
This is another issue and I mentioned it in this post: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 08#p287630

Dreadlau,

I can't replicate either of the issues described in your comment above (with build 1352, skinned (vitreous)).

Can you still replicate?
