Spurious "error" report

Post by Edgar »

I have my options set to ignore very short tracks when scanning into the library. When I rescan my hard drive I get the "Error" message

At worst this might be a Warning but really it is an Info and the wording might better reflect this.

It seems to be info on why these files weren't added.

It says " (did not match import criteria) ".
Seems clear enough to me.

As for "Error", you think it should be "Ignored" instead? Or something like that?

Imo it's good as it is right now.

The window will also list any real errors I assume, so yeah I think it's fine as is and a good improvement over MediaMonkey 3 as users can now see why files are ignored.

I just think it should not be labeled as an "error". I don't even think it should show up here--only errors (and possibly warnings--if there are such). Certainly not a big issue but when I see a big Error dialog I get a bit anxious!
