Problem with hotkeys on NetBook

Hey,
I've installed MM on my NetBook (XP Home) and experienced that some rating hotkeys don't work properly.
E.g. STRG+ALT+3 should rate the currently played so with three stars.
But the selected tracks got rated. This is the same for all STRG+ALT rating hotkeys.
I got this problem on my work notebook before and it got fixed in a later build.
On my NetBook 3.1.0.1256 is installed.
