Strange is that e.g. the path-assembly dialog for "CTRL-R" works ok and shows the constructed path, but when passing this to the normal window it is simply not understood.
Any hint?

Solved: Variables <> don't work, only %x taken
Since 3.1 the variables replacement from the speaking <what-it-is> to the cryptic %x notation does not work any longer. I have no clue if any installed scripts or options could be changing this - so my query here first if you know a candidate script causing this. If there was a "safe mode" it would be easy to check, but I don't want to spoil my environment to do it.
